The table below is a concise analysis of the rainfall, temperature, pressure and phenomena that occurred during the month, and compares these data to the long-term values for the month.

These meteograms show the daily rainfall and daily temperature extremes for the month.
Monitoring
The table below lists our daily data alongside the equivalent data from nearby official stations. The official rainfall stations are the BoM AWS at Laverton RAAF and the Melbourne Water rain gauge at Hoppers Crossing. The official temperature data are from the BoM AWS at Laverton RAAF, Avalon Airport and Point Cook RAAF.
Notes
- Unless otherwise stated, temperature is given in degrees Celsius (° C), rainfall in millimetres (mm) and pressure in hectopascals (hPa).
- The daily AQI is based on the mean of the 24 one-hour mean PM2.5 concentrations.
- Our long-term averages and station records are based on all available data since 1 April 2017. All annual data are based on complete calendar years commencing in 2018.
- If a station record is equalled, the record passes to the most recent date to conform to standard BoM practice.
- Variation from long-term is the difference between the recorded value and the long-term monthly average.
- For most meteorological elements, the mean is the standard measure of the average.
- For rainfall, the median is the preferred measure of the average, particularly if there is a small volume of data.
