Daily Maximum Temperatures

This page displays the highest outside air temperature recorded each day by the automatic temperature sensor and is normally updated after each evening manual observation. Our daily maximum temperature is routinely compared to a nearby BoM AWS as part of our quality assurance practices.

To be consistent with standard BoM practice, each recorded value is the highest temperature in the 24 hours beginning at 9:00 am. On most occasions, the highest temperature will occur during that afternoon to early evening.
