Cold Snap Sends Shiver Across The State

Melburnians woke on the first day of July to a layer of ice on their cars and lawns.

The overnight temperature fell to -0.7° C in Truganina. Sub-zero temperatures were also recorded across many parts of the Melbourne metropolitan area.
